Online Classes
Be prepared to provide care at home, at school or in your community by learning the appropriate care to provide for first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies. These courses do not include the opportunity for you to demonstrate skill proficiency to a certified instructor, and therefore may not meet requirements for workplace safety certification.
Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Online
The 2021 Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Online course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and babies. This course is taught online only (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) and does not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification. To receive a valid 2-year Red Cross digital certificate that is OSHA compliant and meets other workplace and regulatory requirements you must enroll in an instructor-led skill session within 90 days of completing the online course which is an additional cost. We recommend verifying the location of the skills session before registering. If immediate certification is needed we recommend enrolling in either an instructor-led Training or Blended Learning course.
Adult Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED Online

Does not meet OSHA requirements for certification; for an OSHA-compliant course that meets workplace/regulatory requirements sign up for Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED in either the Blended Learning (BL) or Instructor-led formats.
First Aid Online
First Aid online only (no corresponding skills session). Covers a variety of first aid emergencies such as choking, bleeding, overdose and shock. Does not meet OSHA requirements for certification; if you need an OSHA-compliant course that meets workplace/regulatory requirements, sign up for First Aid/CPR/AED in either the Blended Learning (BL) or Instructor-led formats.
First Aid for Severe Trauma Online
First Aid for Severe Trauma™ (FAST™) – Online provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to respond to an emergency involving life-threatening bleeding including how to recognize a life-threatening bleeding emergency ensure safety and communicate effectively in an emergency control life-threatening bleeding using direct pressure a tourniquet or both. The course is designed to enhance participants’ ability to take decisive lifesaving action to assist a person with a traumatic injury and life-threatening bleeding until professional responders arrive.This course is not a certification course and only results in a completion certificate. Please check with your state or workplace on whether this meets requirements for any high school graduation or workplace training requirements for bleeding control education.Responsive design allows for a user-friendly experience on desktop tablets and mobile devices. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the course. This course does not work on Safari browsers.

Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. After taking this course students should talk with their employer about their workplace’s specific policies and procedures. Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year. Bloodborne Pathogens Training Online can be good for a range of occupations: Laboratory Personnel Healthcare Professionals Education Professionals Janitorial and Maintenance Staff First Responders (e.g., EMTs, Paramedics, Police/Fire) Lay Responders Tattoo Artists & Piercers Construction Workers And more! Bloodborne Pathogens for Tattoo Artist online
Course is designed for tattoo artists who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. After taking this course, students should talk with their employer about their workplace specific policies and procedures.Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training for Tattoo Artists certification valid for one year. Please check to see if this course meets your state's regulations before registering. In addition to this training, you should meet with their employer representative so he/she can inform you about specific policies and procedures and answer questions about how this training content applies to your workplace.
Babysitting Online
Designed primarily for youth ages 11 and older, this online course will prepare students to be better babysitters. Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. This course, which includes a final exam at the end, takes about 4 hours to complete. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable certificate.
Until Help Arrives Online
The Red Cross Until Help Arrives course developed in collaboration with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) will educate and empower you to take action and provide lifesaving care when you are the first on the scene during an emergency. This non-certification online course will provide the general public with the basic yet critical key actions that can be taken during a life-threatening emergency that can help sustain or save a life until EMS arrives. In this course you will learn how to: Act with Confidence: Learn compression only CPR (no breaths) to save or sustain a life. Understand AED basics: Gain knowledge on where to find and how to use an AED. Identify and treat a choking incident: Quickly recognize a choking situation and learn what you can do to help.Proper treatment for life-threatening bleeding: Learn how to use pressure to stop bleeding as well as how to use a tourniquet and proper treatment after the bleeding stops. Respond to an overdose: Understand how to administer naloxone in an opioid overdose. Please note that this course does not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification. If you are seeking a 2-year Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED digital certificate that is OSHA compliant and meets other workplace and regulatory requirements we recommend enrolling in either an Instructor-led Training or Blended Learning course for First Aid/CPR/AED.
